Incredible New Year Contest!

First of all, I'm way jealous of you all still on break AND I just found out that today is a Federal holiday and I'm working!! What's up with that?? I know my non-teacher friends are quick to remind me I just had two weeks off, yeah, yeah, I'm still gonna pout! If you're pouting too, I may have just the thing to turn that frown upside down...check out this contest! First of all, when I was asked to participate, I said yes immediately, just because I'm always up for a good giveaway, but when I saw the other people who were asked, well, let's just say it was hard to get my jaw off the table. I was blown away to be included in the company of the ladies below. Seriously, some of these girls are my blogging idols!! What a compliment to be included among them. Click {HERE} to enter!

I've also uploaded my latest Bump games for January to TPT, just click on the picture below to grab your free copy. This time I included addition and multiplication in one download. Some of my nuggets are ready to multiply so I put the games back to back in a page protector and they can choose which version to play. Thank you SO much for those of you who already downloaded and left me feedback. Mostly because I wasn't sure if you all wanted another version. I love the concept of the game and now that my kids really know the rules, I leave it out for anyone who has free time. As long as you all still want them, I'm happy to share them. Guess I have an excuse to buy some cute Valentines graphics! Who am I kidding...I was going to buy them anyway. If there is such a thing as a digital hoarder, I could be the poster child.

Well, that took about all the extra energy I could muster up. Is it wrong to wake up thinking about your afternoon nap? Well, if it's wrong, then I don't want to be right...

  5. If it makes you feel any better, our first "official" day off was December 26! I like when we have a late break, though, because we go back later (obviously!). We're off until Jan. 9 :)

  13. I have also been teaching since 1994, but in the not so sunny state of NY. Also trying to keep the teaching passion alive, I thank you for your blog and look forward to reading it!

  18. This is great! I'm a first grade newbie. I have been following many of the blogs in the giveaway for the last three months and I continue to discover even more of your blogs each day...2 more before I saw your giveaway. I have become obsessed. I would love to win this giveaway. It would help me so much as I venture more into teaching first graders. Thanks to all of you for creating and sharing your ideas and for re-energizing me. My kids love it and get excited each week as they get new things to play and create! first.grade.newbie@gmail.com

  19. Hi Denise! I am inspired by so much on your blog! I recently made a couple of Find It Shakers and my students love them! My students also love your Bump games. My students needed more subtraction practice so I created a Subtraction Bump It game, inspired by your games. I was wondering if a could share it on my blog if I link back to your original idea. I am new to this world of blogging and don't know the proper etiquette yet! :)Thanks again for all the inspiration!
