I just got back from a quick little road trip to celebrate one of my oldest and dearest friend's birthdays this weekend. Hi Marni! She didn't think we were coming, so the look on her face was priceless when we walked through this door! It was so great to catch up and reminisce about our
While hubs was at the wheel for the 10 hour combined total in the car, my creative juices were in full swing. Now I know what to do the next time I have a mental block! I sketched out ideas for lots of new products and projects and thanks to my trusty Macbook, I was able to create this fun freebie for you!
It's called Turkey Trivia Scoot. If you've never played Scoot with your kids, they are going to LOVE it! I saw this idea first from my fab friends over at ProTeacher. Seriously, the sharing and talent that goes on over there is so inspiring to me. Venture over there when you have some spare time (ha!) So, back to Scoot. In this game you place one card on each student's desk and then you have one kid stand at each desk with the answer sheet and a clipboard if you have them. Then they answer the question on that card and stay put until you say, you guessed it, SCOOT! Then they move one seat over and answer the next question until you say (everybody now...) SCOOT!
If that's as clear as mud, the directions in the free download come with a nifty little diagram and even more details. Don't worry, I've also included an answer key just in case you didn't grow up on a turkey farm. It's easier than I probably made it sound and once your kids get the hang of it, they'll be begging to play!
This one is just a fun true/false turkey trivia version. Those little gobblers are interesting creatures! It would be a great extension after sharing your favorite Turkey Day book. It even works great for a rainy day recess game. Ok, I've kept you waiting long enough. Click {HERE} to download it for free from my TpT store. If you like it, I would love you to the moon and back if you could leave me some feedback on TpT.
Have a great week ahead, my friends!
Thanks for the freebie, Denise. My kids love Scoot!
