Valentine Exchange & Threaded Comments Fix!

So, I participated in the ultra super cute Valentine Blogger Exchange this year <--so much fun! I *think* maybe I was supposed to wait until today to open my box, so let's just say that I did. I loved the teachery goodness that was inside! There was a way cute Tervis cup, Valentine ribbon and even stickers to make me less miserable even happier than I already am when I'm grading papers!
The one thing that was not inside the box? Or outside the box? Or anywhere in the vicinity of the box? The name of the person who sent me all of these lovely goodies! But, the mystery has been solved. A few days later I got an email from the lovely Jess from Rambling about Reading! It was her! She just forgot to put in the note with her name. I was just glad that I didn't break any rules by including my name in the package I sent out!

So, thanks a bunch Jess! I [puffy pink heart} everything you sent and I think the cup is a little too cute to even use!

Thanks to Miss Preppy and Kindergarten Korner for hosting! And be sure to check out the cutie patootie blog they put together for just this purpose! Keep your eye on it for future exchanges, which I will totally be participating in.

On another note, I am SO happy that I finally got threaded comments to work!! I have been on a mission since Blogger rolled out the feature and everyone had it except me! boo, sad face!  If you've done all the normal stuff you're supposed to do and it's still not working, try this {Huge disclaimer alert! This worked for me without changing my blog and it should for you too, but I'm not responsible if it doesn't. Capiche?}
I was nervous that it would change up stuff on my blog and I'd go back to a blank template and I'd have to redesign all my cuteness all over again, but I was so desperate for it to work, that I just crossed my fingers, hit save and voila! The only thing that changed was that the reply feature was now working! Yahoo!! So now I can reply to peeps who are nice enough to leave a comment instead of writing a whole new comment myself! So loving that!

Hope you all are having a fantastic Valentine's Day filled with love n' stuff!

    1. Hi Chrissy!
      You can find how to do that with my idol Kristen at Ladybug's Teacher Files here: http://ladybugsteacherfiles.blogspot.com/2011/04/video-tutorial-leaving-direct-links-in.html

      Hope that helps!

  13. Well, now I know one thing about being a new blogger. . . when I started mine, it already had that reply feature added. . . I'm so weak at figuring some of this blog stuff out, that this was a nice addition to already have! Now I'm going to follow your directions to see how to add my signature. . . I'm loving reading your blog. Thanks for sharing.

    2. Aw man! It seems to work for some and not for others, but I seriously think I tried a thousand different things. I couldn't believe this was so simple and actually worked for me. Did you happen to add a code to have numbered comments? I think I read somewhere that that might be the problem.
      If I see anything else, I'll pass it along.
